The first tender of joint gas purchasing under the EU energy platform has been a success.

Reliable international suppliers have responded to our aggregated demand with bids to supply more than 13.4 billion cubic metres of gas.

This is 46% more than in 2021.

Including solar, this represents a 16% increase from 2021 installed capacity (353 GW) saving approximately 11 bcm of gas.
