Poultry production continues to be limited by high input prices, as well as Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza.

@Eucolait @EDA_Dairy Beef production is expected to decrease by 0.6%, despite high prices. This is largely due to a structural adjustment in the beef & dairy sector.
Exports should decrease by 1% as a result of record-high domestic prices. Imports from the UK & Brazil are on the rise. #AgriOutlook
EU cheese production could grow by 0.6% in 2023, which would support the slight recovery of exports.
Exports of skimmed milk powder and whole milk powder could drop by 15% each for 2022.

EU #wine production is forecast to increase marginally by 1.5%, mainly due to a larger production expected in France.
EU wine consumption could decrease by 2%, while exports are expected to remain stable. #AgriOutlook
EU #OliveOil production is expected to decline by 25% for 2022/23, with a drop observed in nearly all main producing countries except Greece.
Heat in the flowering period & water deficit during the olives’ growth phase negatively impacted the production. #AgriOutlook
EU protein crops production is estimated to grow by 1.4% & reach 4.32 million, thanks to higher expected yields
EU oilseed production is expected to increase by 7.5% to 32.2 million tonnes. EU area under oilseed crops reached an all-time high: 12.2 million hectares. #AgriOutlook
EU exports of cereals are expected to reach 51 million tonnes, 6.5% above last season and 20.9% above the 5 year average.
Following record high prices in spring and early summer, cereal prices have started to come down. #AgriOutlook
