We regional authorities continue to provide support and assistance to #Ukraine, but we must face the crises arising from the situation. Access to education is a big problem for Ukrainian children, with up to 200,000 at risk of being left out of the system this year. @Pomorskie_EU

#Gdansk is the cradle of freedom. The next #EU election will decide the road that 🇵🇱 will take in the #EU. It will also be about the development of local government. Decentralisation would give cities and regions ability to respond rapidly to challenges and crises. @MKierwinski

The populist Polish government is breaking the rule of law leads to #Poland being deprived of funding from the RRF. It is difficult to innovate when there is no funding available. But despite this, we must not diminish our level of ambition on innovation and the green transition.

Rural areas need innovation even more than urban areas, they are lagging behind. We are now facing several crises. But these can also be an opportunity to make a transformation in the rural areas happen.

My region produces 24% of 🇵🇱 GDP, makes 17% of Poland's enterprises – mostly micro and small companies. We have to aptly combine the growth of cities– where various research institutes and universities are based – with the growth of other regions through education. @StruzikAdam

As shown in different studies, most regions and cities consider that multilevel governance and subsidiarity principles have not been respected in the implementation of the #RRF and that Local/Regional Authorities are not properly engaged in this facility. @robjonkman
