Hungary successfully issued USD 4.25 bn foreign currency bonds. Investor interest was three times higher, as offers exceeded USD 12 bn. Strong interest shows that the Hungarian economy - despite the war crisis - performs well and investor confidence remains strong.

Despite the present dangerous times, the HU government maintains its goal of improving its macroeconomic indicators. Accordingly, next year's growth is expected to be of 1.5%, while deficit and public debt will reduce. The debt ratio may improve to 70.2% by the end of 2023.

More investments arrived in 2022 to HU than ever before: 6.5 billion euros. South Korea is in the first place and Germany created the most new jobs. HU's goal is to stay out of recession. This can only be achieved if we bring as many investments as possible to HU.

The lambs are from Île-de-France or Suffolk breeds of sheep, raised in the village of Kelemér located in the famous Aggtelek National Park. Besides grass, the pastures also contain medicinal plants that give the meat a spicy aroma & flavour.

In my intervention at tonight's #EPplenary debate I urged the COM to improve the enforcement of existing law on safeguarding passenger rights. I called for a transparent, easily accessible & traceable claim enforcement system which would be a passenger-friendly solution for all.

They did not see the problems of #minorities pressing enough. This house neglects ethnic & national minorities, for them only sexual minorities matter. They are unable to learn from history nor to understand realities.

Guy Verhofstadt initiated an #EPplenarydebate titled "Defending the EU against the abuse of national #vetoes". Unanimity rule is fixed in the Treaties. It is a guarantee to defend the EU from institutional & political players overstretching their competencies.
