I stand with those facing redundancies, raised it directly in meeting with VC on Friday & urged her to explore other options

So disappointing that Lab, Lib Dem & Green coalition deal in North Oxfordshire has been blocked by Labour NEC, letting Tories back in. All local parties wanted deal & had numbers to secure stable majority - this isn't what progressive politics looks like.

Energy bills are still *double* what they were before the gas price crisis hit. The cheapest energy is the energy you don't need to use - insulating the nation could bring lower bills, warmer homes, 1000s of skilled green jobs & slashed carbon emissions.
