@CarolineLucas I feel despondent when people say “I’m not interested in politics. I don’t vote”. I’m 73 and I must admit decades ago I used to think it doesn’t matter who (Lab or Cons) are in power, it’s just the same’.
Now I know/am aware it’s what England voted for was what we got. 🏴 hasn’t voted for a Tory Govt since 1955.
After devolution and a SG I felt more that my vote counted. We still get a WM govt we don’t vote for. Maybe that’s why some people in 🏴 don’t vote at a GE 🤷🏻♀️
