Obviously, "Europe" is not completely united on China. But read the China speech again, which @vonderleyen gave before going to Beijing. That is certainly closer to where the EU stands than what @EmmanuelMacron said. Additional hint: listen also to what European Parliament says.

However, any idea of dropping the ball regarding support of Ukraine because of Macron's stance on Taiwan would be utterly foolish. The fight against RUS imperialism and against CN hegemony, that is one theatre. If you allow one of them to grow stronger, the other will win, too.
