RT by @WorkersEESC: 🇪🇸 Over the past two days, I had the privilege of participating in the extraordinary meeting of the Workers' Group @WorkersEESC at @EU_EESC in #Madrid during the Spanish EU Presidency. 🇪🇺 #EU2023ES @eu2023es
We engaged in constructive discussions regarding the Spanish Presidency's achievements and priorities, with the invaluable insights from prominent ministers, @Yolanda_Diaz_ and @NadiaCalvino. It's truly gratifying to see the recognition of the crucial role of social partners and civil society in shaping our future. 👥
Our conversations spanned a wide range of topics, including the social agenda, dialogue, and collective bargaining in Spain. 🗨️ We also delved into the significant matter of the upcoming @europarl_en elections in 2024, as we collectively chart a path toward inclusive growth and combating inequality. 💪
Now, more than ever, it's time to move away from regressive labor reforms and austerity. We should explore innovative alternatives for achieving social progress in Europe.
Exciting and challenging times lie ahead! 🌍#EU2024 #SocialProgress
