The EU and the US share a deep commitment to addressing the climate crisis and accelerating on the way to net-zero.

We are working to ensure that our incentive programmes for clean tech are fair and mutually reinforcing.

Our Green Deal Industrial Plan will cover 4 pillars:

→ Ambition and acceleration with a Net-Zero Industry Act and a Raw Material Act

→ Boosted investment for the net zero industry

→ Skills to make the transition happen

→ Global trade with benefits for all

@vonderleyen what's the difference between Ambition and acceleration and Boosted investment - isn't global trade an anathema to reducing emissions - countries should be reducing transport of products and materials - becoming more self sufficient?

@vonderleyen Will you finally cut all ties with and sanction the regime of Azerbaijan?

As President @vonderleyen says: "the road to net zero means developing a whole range of new clean tech" and our industry is already deploying various innovation projects. To accelerate our decarbonisation, we need a clear financing & regulatory framework ⤵️

@vonderleyen
keep up the good work. I'm ashamed of Swedens total lack of interest in environmental action and policies. We need you, EU.
