It's been changed before: St Andrew’s, the McCallister bill to create an official opposition, and reducing the no. of depts.
Why not fix the fundamental flaw?

In some ways, they embed it. We wanted better mechanisms at the time: we didn't get them. But it was still worth supporting and trying to deliver. >

Reform has been part of our agenda for years.
Oddly, it used to be part of the DUP's too...how times have changed.
I won't be defending it.
A further election serves no purpose other than stroking the ego of the DUP, who could walk back into Stormont tomorrow and start governing if they wished.
Instead, £5m wasted and parties come back to face the same problems. No progress.
