@StephenDundas12 The UK Govt needs a deal with the EU: they can't afford a trade war with the economy in crisis and war in Ukraine. They also need a deal with the US which they won't get without one. Liz Truss despetately needs a win. So, yes, they'll still do it even if we form a govt.
@ExBusinessman No. The spend of parties isn't included in that figure: that is £5m of public money wasted.
Party spend is funded by donations from members, money they'd otherwise be spending on other things.
@SaneBreadJT @SorchaEastwood There is none.
BYW I'm not convinced the DUP can overtake SF in any upcoming election anyway, but the question is why should we all fight an election just because they didn't like the outcome of the last one?
That's not democracy.
@denboy372 For people who are struggling, for our public services and finances? Absolutely.
For me or the @allianceparty? Not especially, no.
@denboy372 I'm a Girl Guide. #BePrepared
@Len88271318 @PeterMc63263989 @DarranMarshall @SorchaEastwood Exactly, and one of the things that has to change.
@PeterMc63263989 @DarranMarshall @SorchaEastwood I can't force anything. And it is my priority.
@StephenDundas12 Brexit caused trade barriers & the UK Govt agreed the protocol. With engagement between UK and EU and proper market surveillance, the extent of paperwork and check can be dramatically reduced. Everyone would welcome that but we can still govern while it happens.

@StephenDundas12 No. I said that reform was essential and needs to be progressed urgently. I specifically said it wasn't a precondition to government, but it was a consideration as leaving a system in place where the main parties can pull the rug from under our feet at any time isn't sustainable.
@rjpark It will set out as it did before our reform proposals.
@MissPatterson81 @SJAMcBride Proper oversight did indeed prevent the claims being paid.
@AMontyspurs No. It isn't. Intransigence of the DUP is the problem.
@jamiemathis01 No. I also don't have inverted commas round my job description.
@hillofrushes @newsoncool @belfast_prod @allianceparty And I'm always polite - or try to be 😇
