In @EP_Industry I presented my amendments to the #EuropeanElectricityMarketDesign Report, for which I am shadow-rapporteur.

I argued that the EU must invest in its #energy connections, especially those of the Iberian Peninsula.

“In our work in the REMIT report we were guided by three main principles: Legal Coherence and Transparency, a Strengthened European Dimension and a Reinforced Market.”

I joined a debate on the enlargement of the Portuguese maritime platform, on #Azores.

#Portugal has a project to extend its platform beyond 200 nautical miles. The #EU can help, due to its expertise in the areas of the #sea.
