Brexit is massive economic self-harm: a wonderful explanation.

Really happy with the appointment of @fionasm as chief economist for @EU_Competition . She is an outstanding economist, an expert on platform markets who will do a great job for EU consumers.
Proud @vestager is always willing to look for the best talent available.

More good news from Ukraine.
The EU announced 50 billion euro support for Ukraine two weeks ago in London.
Now, this support is becoming operationalized.
The EU and Ukraine are working on specifics of the program.

Spain: in the only debate between the two main party leaders Feijóo (PP) did better than expected and Sánchez, the Socialist PM, worse. Sánchez was edgy, Feijóo generally calm. Sánchez attacked Vox, the PP's probable partner. Feijóo: you abstain to let us govern without them.

We are saying goodbye today to one of the most consequential European politicians of the last decades, @MinPres. A master at wielding power at the level of his admired Robert Moses, the Netherlands he leaves behind is the best run country in the world.
I wish him the best.

Re @timwillems85 I know: all Dutchmen love to complain about the NL. If you allow me to call "living in a country" places I have spent more than 6 months, I have lived in BEL, LUX, USA, UK, SPA, Fr. The NL is in another league: health, bikes, schools, integration (in Lombok where I lived).
