The EU Parliament has led at every step the EU support for Ukraine. This well-deserved Sakharov prize is one more milestone on that path, which will culminate with the accession (soon!) of an independent and peaceful Ukraine to the EU.

This paper will be really interesting to read by both micro and macro economists, most of whom will have only a partial perspective on how agent heterogeneity came to be introduced in macro in the 80s and 90s. A fascinating intellectual history.
Before it was just "publish or perish" now it is "publish even if all humanity must perish."
More on that insane gain of function research: they did not ask for permission! Compare, as @cabralestweet said, with economists for any silly game experiment.
