Today @EP_Transport discussed growing Chinese investments in EU ports. Trade instruments, like the Foreign Direct Investment framework & Anti-Coercion Instrument, are insufficient. We need a European strategy to ensure that crucial port infrastructure is protected.

I'm also missing a clear answer by the @EU_Commission on the findings of the report by @JonathanHolslag on the issue of Chinese dual-use ships and their presence in European ports.
