These photos were taken yesterday at the @europarl_en in Strasbourg, following the adoption of Resolution 2023/2979(RSP).

Addressing many extremely important issues, the Resolution also explicitly calls for the immediate and unconditional release of Johan, who has now been held hostage by the 🇮🇷 Islamic Republic of Iran for 586 days.

It is powerful to see human right defenders in the European Parliament take strong stance against Iran's hostage diplomacy and stand up for Johan!
