Good update on a call with
nitter.cz/DmytroKuleba
. As the world’s attention is on the Middle East, Ukraine is advancing and Russia's latest offensives are failing. Ukraine could do even more, if more air defence and long-range missiles were provided now.

There is no peace without justice, but in a frozen conflict you have to suspend justice. That's why Russia wants to freeze, to avoid being brought to justice. And that's why a frozen conflict could never be peaceful. Peace comes only when the aggressor is defeated and prosecuted.

Since Vilnius NATO summit Putin feels emboldened to escalate, pulling out of the grain deal, attacking Odesa and now a Danube port.
We must make sure our determination to help Ukraine to victory, and NATO membership, is better understood. Time to double-down on our efforts.

9 years ago Putin's thugs shot down MH17. He blamed it on Ukraine, he spat out ridiculous and conflicting denials, he never showed any regret.
Countless warcrimes later, some still believe it is possible to "negotiate peace" with that kind of person.
No, it is not.
