This is misleading. This number considers only direct emissions and not the ones emitted by the usage of the transported oil, which are estimated to be 34.3 million metric tons of CO2 per year.

The combined emissions of oil transport and usage are estimated at 34,3 Mio metric tons of CO2 per year (within 20 years of operation) which is contrary to the scientific advice of the @IPCC_CH and the @IEA which says that the world needs no new investments in fossil fuels.
