Rumours of an alliance between the ID & ECR Groups, spread by journalists to see how we react, are nonsense.
We, the home of Conservatives in 🇪🇺, have been clear: Those willing to sign our founding Prague Declaration, based on centre-right, conservative values, can apply to join.
For example, ECR MEP @FidanzaCarlo hosted an event today with @EPPGroup MEP Bellamy. This does not mean that we have formed an alliance with the EPP.
MEPs can work together individually on different issues without involving the group as a whole.
