Dissident rapper Toomaj Salehi, who is widely considered the voice of #Iran's protest movement, has been unjustly imprisoned since October 2022. Toomaj peacefully criticised state policies through his music. Now he faces charges that could carry the death penalty! 🚨 #EPlenary

On my initiative, the @EPPGroup will request an urgency resolution about the Iranian rapper Toomaj Salehin in next week's plenary session. The dissident rapper was imprisoned for simply expressing his opinion and critisism. The EP should firmly denounce this tyranny⚠️ #FreeToomaj
