Today, on the International Religious Freedom Day, I call on the EU and all democratic states to redouble the efforts to stop the genocide in #Xinjiang. Today, and every day the #UyghurFriendshipGroupEP stand for the rights of the Uyghurs, including freedom of religion & belief.

We tried to table the same amendment last week. That time, Socialists and Greens blocked the vote. Next week the vote cannot be blocked. All members of the Parliament will have to take a stand on EU campaigns such as this one. ⬇️ Seriously, hijab ≠ freedom!
