@JohnStuartWilso @gavinpoints I said that being in the single market and the customs union is what we ask the UK to deliver after the Brexit vote for the whole of the UK or at least for Scotland. It is possible, it is done somewhere else, let’s stop finding excuses for not doing it.

@Newareopagitica @europarl_en @UKHouseofLords The United Kingdom had 13 times the population of the Republic of Ireland and yet ROI had 11 MEPs while the UK had only 8 times more MEPs.
England has 10 times the population of Scotland, 9 times the number of MPs.
Smaller countries have better representation in the EU.

The Republic of Ireland has 13 MEPs today.
The Republic of Ireland had 11 MEPs when the UK had 87, Scotland had only 6.
An Independent Scotland would have 14.
