The Czech Republic, a country of 10 million people, originally part of Czechoslovakia and since 1993 an Independent state, joined the European Union in 2004, is now leading the EU.
Scotland’s next.
An Independent Scotland will one day lead the EU, a union of equals.
RT @EU2022_CZ: Today in Madrid, the Czech Republic symbolically took over the Presidency of the Council of the EU from French colleagues. 🤝 Starting from tomorrow w…

@ajwillshire We are starting by having and keeping our NHS with nurses having a better pay than our closest neighbour.
Did you say Denmark?
The average after-tax salary is enough to cover living expenses for 2 months in Denmark compared to 1.5 months in the United Kingdom.

@hussein_patwa @AberdeenCC It is thank to you that we voted the way we did, thank you for making the case and I’m astonished that the opposition didn’t listen to your plea.

Our promise to you is clear: “We will make sure people with disabilities will not find it hard to go places or receive services.”

RT @EU_Commission: Today we pay tribute to Simone Veil, who left us five years ago.

First female President of the @europarl_en, she set out a vision for a fairer and more united Europe – a cause she would champion for the rest of her life.

Her legacy will continue to inspire us.

RT @charlottearmit7: At 16, I cast my first yes vote.

I voted for a independent Scotland - one free of Westminster austerity.

Free of hostile, racist and downright cruel policies. Of cronyism. Of protecting the rich and sacrificing the poor.

On 19 October 2023, I hope we secure that future.

RT @Archie_Sturrock: ❝In 2014, voters rejected independence by 55%. Brexit has changed the game. Scots opposed Brexit by 62% and warily watched as the UK chose to leave the EU rather than remain stronger together, the very argument used two years earlier to convince Scots to oppose independence.❞
