While there's a sort of truth in the claim that's come top here, that growth helps only the 1%, the real truth is that it doesn't help them either. It is actually disastrous for us all and they already have more than they can ever use or need. And money is worthless.

@the_spokeswoman All worn out stuff that's suitable for rags/polishing cloths goes in the rags cupboard and various buckets that have the cleaning gear and associated cloths in. Recent workmen have been surprised and delighted that I could supply rags and dustsheets. Thought that was normal 🙃

Reductions in nitrogen dioxide are five times greater in London than elsewhere in the UK, partly due to measures such as the Ultra-Low Emission Zone.

Motor vehicle traffic fell by a quarter inside the LTN and by 8 per cent when including boundary roads.
The largest reduction on a boundary road was 1,300 vehicles a day on Clapham Road.
