@aeroycroft In ordinary life, at least in my profession, I think I see more compassion, and consideration for those in difficulties from women, but in politics I think it is almost the other way round. Maybe because the prominent women in UK politics are Tories. Freaks.

Dear Liz and Boris, there are trains you can catch to Aberdeen. You could have gone on the night sleeper. You could have done the farewell speech from Aberdeen and then gone on to Balmoral. It's nice in Scotland. The Scots would have given you an appropriate audience.

Does having another nasty woman for prime minister further the cause of women in politics? I just answered a questionnaire about what I'd imagine the virtues of women would be in politics. I'd expect compassion, empathy, care for the planet. See any in Thatcher, May or Truss?

🤦 Here are some of the worst moments of Boris Johnson's premiership.

@JohnRentoul What rules did they change? Did he think he was promised a permanent dictatorship because he was the only one with the bravado to charm the hoi polloi to vote to increase their own misery and enrich the wealthy and the oil magnates?

Cincinnatus saved the state from an invasion. Johnson threw the state into division, chilling poverty, & rampant inflation. He lost 🇬🇧 its allies, and destroyed its trade relations. He undermined democracy, stuffed the House of Lords and broke his own laws.

Well well! 💡
RT @LiamThorpECHO: There is a high tax burden in the Nordic countries but there is definitely a feeling that people get a heck of a lot out for what they put in and those who are struggling get the benefits while the top earners put more in. It feels fair and society benefits as a whole.

And so he could cash in on people's willingness to put up with deprivation for the sake of a "war effort".
And so he could play pretend statesman.

Well it's true in Kiev, because Boris ran away and hid there every time some new embarrassing scandal or disgrace broke in Britain, so they think he loves them and has their interests at heart. Because it was almost once a week 😂

This is the reality of climate crisis. That's why the wealthy, who are responsible for the emissions, need to be taxed: partly to cut their spending power; partly to pay for the damage they continue to do unabated, oblivious of the genocide they're complicit in.
