Incidentally I could have caught the 11:13 Eurostar from Paris, to shorten the time by an hour. That would mean London by 1230 pm! 😊😊😍😍
But it seemed safer to book the 12:13.

6) you sit on the runway waiting for a slot
7) once airborne, you spend some very uncomfortable hours in the air.

(1) you pack the night before, leaving out all the forbidden bottles and blades
(2) you lie awake all night afraid you won't wake up to catch the airport bus
(3) you take an absurdly early bus because there might be a traffic jam

To address the cost of living crisis you have to address the causes and the structural issues that are draining all the solutions into further problems. Sticking plaster and price caps do nothing at all to resolve it.
