When they tell you on the goggle box that he "got us through covid" and called all the shots right, remember that he didn't. He (they) did everything wrong, everything too late, put covid into care homes, and diverted billions of public money to dodgy firms run by their friends.
RT @CarolineRussell: New Covid dashboard data for England last week.

🦠cases 139,272 up 29,172 (26.5%)

🦠deaths 454 up 53 (13.2%)

How many in the room believe 1.5 is still alive?

Be careful what you wish for. We need a General Election, not another even more extreme Conservative PM.

@westerby1 @GreenPeterU @OwainAlty Thanks. Yes that's good, but shows clearly why insurance systems have to be fudged with subsidies if you want to have a low wage economy and leave people too poor to pay for the insurance. What this shows is that it's actually a tax on middle earning workers.

@GreenPeterU @OwainAlty Yes and it'll be the same for their supplement for social care which is what this rise is for. They want to be able to penalise those who never stood a chance of saving for old age.

Let's not have any of these. They won't help and proper green measures will be much more effective at securing energy security and affordability.

An organisation designed to engineer regime change in the UK and elsewhere, to establish right wing government. Placed Thatcher. 🤔🙄
RT @declassifiedUK: 🚨 Who is the new UK Chancellor Nadhim Zahawi? 🚨

From 2015-18, he was chair of secret rightwing group Le Cercle. An ex-Tory minister wrote Le Cercle is "funded by the CIA"—and its membership includes spies.

Zahawi never declared his role to parliament.

Let's not be seduced by the BBC touting the government's propaganda about low earning workers being exempt from national insurance. Yes but most of the middle earning workers will be paying much more. And you bet they'll make contributions a condition for a decent old age. 🙄
