@WelchJacinta I also suspect that Sunak wanted to make drastic cuts to slash the welfare state & send the economy into ruins and Boris didn't, but would spend more to get us out of the mess. Looks like that to me from Sunak's letter. His shock doctrine Brexit project was being thwarted by BJ.
