RT @TGonthebike: @MerPolTraffic People of you too could have a force that cares about those on foot.

@aardgoose @dicko120 @nadhimzahawi I'm not suggesting he be the leader. But we need this kind of voice for working people in parliament. People who know what it is to be in a union and why one goes on strike.

@MillwardDerek @ACarpenDigital @Peter_PP_Price @nadhimzahawi Integrity in public office, doing the decent thing, regarding tax as a duty and a contribution to the possibility of a flourishing society. You know, being a decent citizen and an honourable human being. That thing?

This is why you should join a union.

@dicko120 @aardgoose @nadhimzahawi Well we do need a government that admits it was stupid, and seeks a route back, but we can still have Lynch in parliament without his Brexit views being in the ascendancy. We need him for realism about work and exploitation.

@Conservatives Do they mean people in work? Or people on a company pay roll? Let's see the real figures with self-employed included.

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/catherinerowe

@Conservatives Thank goodness. Finally some decent opposition to the disastrous programme of cutting workers' rights and protections. Yor should be ashamed of this offensive misrepresentation of the situation. But today's "Conservatives" have no shame and no idea how to conserve anything.

RT @ZackPolanski: Labour says is “indefensible & foolish."

But fail to take a stand & protest to defend workers' rights.

As Mick Lynch says: "We’ve got @CarolineLucas from @TheGreenParty. But the big question – where’s the Labour front bench tonight?’

@Pauline54232922 @nadhimzahawi Lynch needs to come with the Unions on Brexit: they're on the right path now. But it takes time for people to wake up. Everyone must now see that Brexit has made everything worse— for workers, business, education, research and those without work—and was intended to do so.

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/catherinerowe

@nadhimzahawi Wouldn't this country be so much better off and happier if Mick Lynch were in parliament and you were not?! Let's clear out the tax dodging cruel and incompetent fools that are currently running the show and have some people who care, people who understand, people we can trust.

You know what? @UKLabour would do better to declare themselves supportively with the Unions, in favour of strikes.
The Tories will accuse them of supporting workers anyway.
Everyone actually wants them to support the workers, and to tell the Tories why they're wrong.
Win win.

And what about Amazon? You can't spot any signs except the way they undercut high Street shops, and drive on roads that UK tax payers are funding. We can avoid buying from Amazon, but wouldn't it be better if they were properly taxed to fund the NHS and rail freight?

It's tempting to think they mean people like Rishi Sunak's family or Nadhim Zahawi. But why phrase it like this? They really mean your odd job man who requests payment in cash? Always they want to screw more money out of the workers while the billionaires stash theirs offshore.
