RT @Andrew9Boswell: What do when you encounter a hydrocarbon

"Hello, dear hydrocarbon molecule - nice to meet you. I don't want to burn you, and turn you, from CH4 to CO2, as I love💚 my grandchildren. So I will now say 'goodbye' and leave you well alone for all eternity"

The Tories have cut hospital beds by 20,000

RT @parislees: THIS is what we should be angry about. Not trans people. Not celebrity scandal. Not Westminster gossip. Fossil fuel companies have known for decades and spent huge sums to mislead us and get politicians in their back pocket. It's a crime against all of us. bbc.co.uk/news/science-environ

RT @GreenPartyJack: Even by their standards, this govt’s stance on the Elgin Marbles is astonishingly outdated.

Historical and cultural artefacts should never be referred to as “assets”, and they don’t belong in the UK.

A state-of-the-art museum in Athens has been ready to house them for 15 years.

RT @EmilyLincOBrien: An eye-watering £42 billion of tax was lost or stolen last year:

😲 That's £58,000 for every nurse in the country!
😭Or £1,300 for every single taxpayer!

An ultra fail by this failing Government - and that's according to their own committee...

Why aren't we self sufficient in renewable energy?
Because of the grid.
Fix the issues with grid capacity and access and most of our problems would vanish overnight. It's a no brainer.
(But when did we last see a brain on the ministerial benches?).
