RT @CarFreeNorwich: Last Saturday, Exchange St was marshalled again and it was lovely.
Today, we're back to a constant stream of law breakers, turning the road into an ugly traffic sewer. 🤬
Why don't @NorwichPoliceUK care about these crimes? When will @NorfolkCC actually install a camera?

@616thirteen No that's fine. Going too fast is more dangerous. You just need to remember that the cyclist has as much right to the road as the motorist, and it's your right to go at the speed that is appropriate. There's no minimum speed limit 😊

@616thirteen Don't be afraid. Just claim an entitled position in the road (so they have to wait till it's safe), wear high viz (more important than anything), don't wear lycra or a helmet: look amateur. Don't ride on the pavement or shared use paths that don't have right of way at junctions.

RT @MrJohnNicolson: Constituents surprised to discover Johnson isn’t a hard working MP express “anger after Mr Johnson wrote in the Spectator magazine that he was on a career “hiatus” – despite remaining a member of Parliament for a seat of more than 110,000 residents.” bylinetimes.com/2022/12/20/bor

RT @Y00C4RNT: @LGalloway77 We know what's coming today. Private health providers will be invited to "help out the NHS". Then this approach will become entrenched, slowly moving all elective care over to the private sector. Then they'll be invited to "help out" with A&E...how stupid do they think we are?

RT @SiOldridge: 6. The obvious thing to do when prices go up is to avoid waste. But Cameron proudly 'Cut the Green Crap' in 2013, only benefiting oil companies & Putin.
If insulation rates had continued at a similar pace, around 18 million homes would now be way cheaper to heat.

RT @SiOldridge: If you're thinking, but we can't just depend on renewables, that's old news. The latest science says we can. This landmark study shows 100% renewables will save us >60% on energy costs AND will pay back in just 6 years. There are many other studies.

@WelchJacinta Well let's make a start. He did not address climate change, the biggest threat to global peace and planetary life. He did not mention making public sector wages match the cost of living. He did not mention the war in Ukraine and the global famine it will cause.

@MartinSLewis @BurtyBird Precisely. So if you can't afford food rent and heating now, you won't suddenly be able to afford it if inflation is halved. You'll be even less able to afford it than you are now.

@WelchJacinta He didn't mention corruption in public life and the problem that the house of Lords is stuffed with Tory appointments who have bought their way to power with money from dodgy sources. He didn't mention tax evasion and avoidance.
