@616thirteen No that's fine. Going too fast is more dangerous. You just need to remember that the cyclist has as much right to the road as the motorist, and it's your right to go at the speed that is appropriate. There's no minimum speed limit 😊

@616thirteen Don't be afraid. Just claim an entitled position in the road (so they have to wait till it's safe), wear high viz (more important than anything), don't wear lycra or a helmet: look amateur. Don't ride on the pavement or shared use paths that don't have right of way at junctions.
