RT @getprdone: What’s the root cause of governments acting for the few, not the many? Is the answer the same now as it was 200 years ago?

RT @jeremycorbyn: A strike by teachers and university staff is a strike for their students' futures.

This is not just about pay. It's about the value we place on education as a whole.

A victory for the @ucu and @NEUnion is a victory for us all.

RT @EmilyLincOBrien: Extraordinary that Labour are standing up for the same big developers who are bankrolling the Conservative party- not for our countryside.

Looks like the (already terrible) freeports scheme is contrary to our EU exit agreement. Well, there's a surprise. More obstacles...

What's the matter with the NHS? Brexit, low pay, private profit leeching out any money they do put in. Look at this graph! Notice that at a time of a three year global pandemic, and its aftermath in long term health damage, vaccination programmes and backlogs funding is... 🙄
RT @paulhar04305540: @ChrissieGrech Don't forget underfunding as well

RT @janetm50723412: Simple geoeconomics of food distribution and seasonal supply. But no, the leaders of Leave wanted to go back to the colonial model of long distance exploitative food supply, and US processed inedible rubbish.

RT @HelenTBracken: 🚨Don’t get ill
🚨Don’t have a medical emergency
The Tories have bled the NHS dry 😫
Will the NHS be there for you when you need it? 🤔

RT @chrismothman1: @janrosenow Those who resort to whataboutery are generally 'rent a gobs' paid (by big oil or nuclear) to cast doubt in the minds of those who make decisions. Fact is, renewables are fine with storage and interconnectors, with non-impoundment tidal stram as baseload. Tides happen whatever

@hermit_nature "Where are you from?" is a question we all get asked all the time, at events where people are from different parts of the country, or when we arrive at university etc. "Yes, but where are you actually (or" really") from?" is a completely different question.

How can they think we'd put these problems down to Labour, when we didn't have them under Labour, but have utter chaos and economic disaster under the Tories? Lies are not impressive.
RT @Conservatives: Labour = more debt, more inflation, more strikes and more migration.

RT @David__Osland: Gas, electricity, water, rail, airports and now the National Grid. Every Tory privatisation bar none has been an abject failure for everybody. Except the chief executives and the shareholders, of course.

RT @EuropeanPowell: No country in world history has ever dramatically switched off so many laws in one fell swoop. Disaster capitalists are known to 'Go in hard and fast' learned tactics designed to disorientate and fatigue the public, it works especially well during crisis, aka shock therapy.

RT @EuropeanPowell: Please watch this video on what deregulation of over 4,000 EU laws by Dec 2023, ministers can step in and object, if they don't a major fire sale of citizens rights will happen, it is unprecedented and extremely serious. @CSBarnard24

@greenmattbfd That's impressive to get to Hamburg in one go. I mean 5 in one day. Did you consider ferry from Newcastle? I was trying to work out whether ferry from Harwich or Eurostar was the best route to Copenhagen. Alas for the lack of a night train.

@greenmattbfd I love those trains with compartments. Had them in Belgium and Czech Republic too. Really good for travelling as a family.

RT @David__Osland: So 600,000 children go to private schools and two million children go hungry. But we're subsidising private school fees instead of free school meals.
