They got cross when P&O sacked staff without consulting unions, and tried to bring in cheaper agency staff. Did #Tories actually care about worker protections, trade union rights/obligations, the right to negotiate adequate pay & conditions, and safety at work?

We need affordable railways. We need cleaning staff and platform staff who can afford to live. We need to retain highly skilled drivers. If you run down the service it becomes less viable not more. If you're short of staff the trains get cancelled. Get you to the picket lines!
