Johnson seems to be very much in favour of dishing out public money to private companies run by friends, and raising taxes on workers to their highest levels. A kind of redistribution of wealth from the productive workers to the unproductive idlers who fund the Tory party.

Do they feel threatened by the idea of letting others be paid for work and not taxed into poverty on that pay? Or have they lost all sense of proportion?

What's wrong is inequality and huge amounts of money in the wrong hands (especially government contracts worth billions). Meanwhile those who work are paid a pittance, propped up by benefits designed to keep them in permanent gruelling poverty.

People receiving their £150 "rebate" must surely notice that it's too little: fuel and food bills are going up by 1000s. A government who gives too little, in the wrong way, to the wrong people, for the wrong reasons; because they're unwilling to do what we know they should do.
