RT @ucu: Today, 70,000 UCU members resume strike action at UK universities

They are sick of being told a sector worth £40bn can't afford decent pay and pensions

And they are sick of millionaire vice chancellors denying them job security

RT IF YOU SUPPORT THEIR FIGHT

RT @CWUnews: 🚨BREAKING: CWU can reveal that Royal Mail managers will receive up to 20% of their salaries as a bonus payment for introducing unagreed changes and forcing through redundancies.

From a company claiming to have no money.

Sickening.

Be ready for the strikes.

RT @JosephineCumbo: NEW: The said that a deficit (£14bn) identified in the 2020 valuation, had been "eliminated" as of the end of August with the scheme showing a £5.6bn surplus.

The controversial 2020 scheme valuation led to a range of benefit cuts for tens of thousands of members.

RT @CarolineLucas: Bone-headed & senseless decision. Govt says is vital to meet 2035 electricity decarbonisation target, but *its own impact statement* found we won't get supply for at least another 13-17 years - do the maths! Nuclear is hugely costly & simply can't help meet 2035 target

This is wonderful to behold, but our country is so messed up by plastic and rubbish and filth. This river is a metaphor for the rubbish we have clogging the corridors of power in the UK. We need to clear it all out and let clear water flow.
RT @riverroding: Yesterday, some of the best of humanity came together on the Aldersbrook in Ilford to uncover a river so choked in plastic & rubbish it had ceased to flow. With a day of difficult & tiring work, they managed to…

RT @UWankings: Definitely see that we need to put on an autoreply on there while on strike. Also see that the same makes sense for ASOS but...

...isn't there a massive carbon footprint from <checks notes> 70,000+ @ucu people sending literally millions of autoreplies over the coming months?

Thanking them? What like the clapping?
How about ending the destruction of our health service, returning it to public ownership and paying the doctors and nurses, so that some people will actually be able to afford to work for it?
Hypocrite Tories.

RT @RishiSunak: An honour to thank some of our healthcare heroes at @TheSun’s awards on @Channel4.

Shocked by this?
Let's be clear that journalists are already getting arrested in the UK for covering protests. Police brutality is all too common here too. Let's not pretend we're on the moral high ground.
Perhaps the BBC should tell more of the truth about this?

Here is a picture of the money trail. It is worth adding that all of the trusts and personal bank accounts shown in the diagram are based in the off-shore tax haven, the Isle of Man.
