RT by @catherinerowett: 📮 This week marks 10 years since the first Royal Mail shares were sold.

A historic institution returning millions to the public purse, ideologically sold off at bargain-bin prices 😡 Now look who's profiting... 1/2

RT by @catherinerowett: The Tories are scrambling to find something to show for their record in government and are desperately making uncosted and undeliverable promises.

If it goes ahead, the Western Link would be terrible for taxpayers and the environment. @StopWensumLink eveningnews24.co.uk/news/23853

RT by @catherinerowett: This is so shortsighted, more roads = more traffic, increased emissions, more nature destruction, more climate breakdown, more extreme weather, floods, fire, famine. Invest in public/active transport instead. @StopWensumLink

New beds? Where are the staff? If you don't pay doctors and nurses a wage you can live on, the beds will be empty, however many you buy. You can't put a patient in a bed on an unstaffed ward.

We just observed the hottest month globally on record. This is how all the Julys since 1880 stack up.
The 8 hottest Julys on record (for global average temperature) have all occurred in the last 8 years since 2016.
No time to waste.
