Texas is already trying to convince #EU companies to invest in #US. Not only with #InflationReductionAct, but also lower energy prices, less bureaucracy and different working relations.

Puts us in an unfair position. The plenary will discuss IRA next week in Strasbourg.

The political commitments on #InflationReductionAct made during #TTC need translation into concrete solutions before the end of this year. US already outlined some potential avenues: interpretation of commercial vehicles and trade partners.

Now @vestager in @EP_Trade: we felt that we moved the needle forward on #InflationReductionAct during #TTC. US understands seriousness of our concerns. Yet, no openness on their side to open legal act, so we need to be creative on implementation. All of this very urgent.

Third #TTC has produced some concrete results and the fact that we have this forum for dialogue should not be underestimated. Yet, the directly trade-related results are somewhat limited. More ambition would be welcome.
