Agreement on investment facilitation for development will make policies more transparent and procedures more harmonised + efficient. Should lead to more investment, especially in developing countries. All #WTO members should now be on board to incorporate this in the rulebook.

I deplore that, despite seven trilogues, we have not yet been able to reach an agreement. The Swedish presidency has made real efforts to conclude negotiations, but unfortunately the Council does not yet seem to understand that readmission is a serious issue for the EP. #GSP
