We need to speed up investments in EU clean industries & technology. For this to happen, strong EU level coordination, harnessing talents & skills & a balanced state aid policy are key.

4. Through unbundling of the contractual obligations between the manufacturer or vendor selling the device & the data holder providing the service for the device. This allows a better delineation of obligations towards the user & a better-mirrored reality of the data ecosystem.

In non-emergency cases we chose to empower companies to share data through voluntary agreements & against fair remuneration. Mandatory requests would be allowed only when data is locked-in respecting strict security requirements & without placing additional burdens on businesses.

5. Wider #usability and #availability of the Wallet, that is achieved by making it available to minors, persons with limited capacity and development of programmes to raise awareness on the use of the Wallet and develop digital skills.

4. More functionalities for the users of the Wallet, that envisage a by default provided qualified #electronicsignature and the possibility to generate their own electronic attestations of attributes.

3. Through stronger #security measures concerning the Wallet, which include the highest security level, a mechanism that allows the user to request revocation of validity, when the security of the device has been compromised and strict requirements in cases of security breaches.

2. Through enhanced #dataprivacy and data minimisation requirements, including the possibility for the users of the Wallet to generate pseudonyms, which will be under their sole control, stored by-default locally and encrypted.

These will allow users to have full transparency on the the parties with whom the data has been shared and manage access permissions.
