Two weeks ago, I filed a complaint at the EU Ombudsman about Frontex’ refusal to disclose the OLAF report. I am awaiting her appraisal of the reasons to keep it confidential. It is in the public interest to know and debate on how Frontex dealt with human rights violations.

ECtHR ordered the Greek authorities to provide assistance to Syrian refugees stranded on the islet of Evros but instead they pushed them back to Turkey. This blatant violation of international law and disrespect for European courts illustrate the rule of law crisis in Greece.

I fully support the @OHR_BiH proposal to prevent fraud during BiH's upcoming elections and ensure state functionality after. However, the proposed electoral law changes should not be part of this package. They will deepen ethnic segregation and electoral discrimination. (1/3)

Glad that the Commission takes this step to protect LGBTIQ citizens in Hungary. Hopefully it keeps this determination while deciding on EU funds for Hungary.

The EU has annulled 125 million of funding to BiH because the government failed to fulfill Rule of Law and democracy conditions. Sadly, this is the right step. Clear communication by the EU is however key. Citizens have the right to know which politicians are to blame for this.

I submitted a complaint at the @EU_Ombudsman office to request public access to the @EU_AntiFraud report on @Frontex. It is in the public interest to ensure that EU agencies are not contributing to pushback practices. This starts with public scrutiny and full accountability.
