Ein-de-lijk kondigt @vonderleyen aan de noodzakelijke stappen te zetten om EU-subsidies aan Hongarije te bevriezen.

Nu is het zaak dat de Commissie scherpe eisen stelt aan herstel van de rechtsstaat en aanpak van Orban’s corruptie voordat er opnieuw EU-geld naar Hongarije kan.

Vucic’ victory is dramatic news for citizens’ rights, rule of law, the fight against corruption, and unity against Putin. The Commission must step up support to minorities, independent courts and media and protect other Western Balkan countries against this divisive influence.
