We have to work hard every day to make it better.
But having the EU as a strong guarantor of peace, democracy and rule of law is still an unbelievable achievement.
Especially when looking at the history of this continent.

News about arbitrary suspension of journalists on Twitter is worrying. EU’s Digital Services Act requires respect of media freedom and fundamental rights. This is reinforced under our #MediaFreedomAct. @elonmusk should be aware of that. There are red lines. And sanctions, soon.

The European Parliament has just adopted a strong resolution calling for a full inquiry and better transparency rules.
It will be a long way to win back full trust, but this week we have shown unity and strength in responding to the scandal.
