Good news for Rule of Law today.

Member States have finally agreed that Orbán went too far.

The Rule of Law conditionality is alive and 6.3bn€ of EU funds are frozen to Hungary.

Lesson learnt: Blackmailing does not work when the others stand together.

EU democracy won.

The group chairs in the European Parliament unanimously voted for the removal of vice-president Kaili just now.

The vote of this will be taken in the plenary today.

We also agreed to a full inquiry into the matter and taking further preventive measures.
