We just arrived back from Kyiv, Irpin and Bucha.
The level of destruction is really devastating.
Also in residential areas.
The reports from the liberated areas are atrocious.
This is very clearly a war against the civilian population.

It’s true. The EU has many flaws. Institutionally and politically.
But it is simply the best way of supranational cooperation we have come up with so far.
Especially in dark times like these it is even more important to work together and build a strong European democracy.
