EU-China relations are at a crossroads.
It is important to cooperate on climate, food security and global peace.
But we strongly condemn systematic human rights violations and threats against Taiwan.
There is a path to cooperation, but China has to play a different role.

E desconhecido é também o futuro do PCP.
Um partido fortemente erodido nas suas bases (autárquica e sindical), envelhecido na sua militância e agora também profundamente isolado do país por causa do seu posicionamento face à invasão russa da Ucrânia.

A sucessão de Jerónimo de Sousa aconteceu, como era previsível, em direção à ortodoxia, mas com um resultado imprevisível.
Alguns dos militantes fora do Comité Central terão ouvido falar levemente de Paulo Raimundo, para todos os outros portugueses é um desconhecido.

Assisti ao entrincheiramento do PCP, à medida que perdia autarquias na Área Metropolitana de Lisboa e no Alentejo, mas também vivi bem por dentro o nascimento da "geringonça".
Jerónimo foi protagonista principal desse acordo, enfrentando as resistências dos mais ortodoxos.

Cresci num concelho da margem sul gerido por autarcas do Partido Comunista durante muitos anos.
Desde que comecei a participar ativamente na política, que o combate a nível local era feito com o PCP. A primeira faixa de protesto que fiz não aguentou nem uma noite.
