Not all MSs decided to use #Arachne in #RRF, which will decrease the overall usefulness of the tool and increase the risk of non-detection of fraud and double-funding. Transparency and effective controls must be in place to ensure that #EU funds are used for intended purposes.

Fulfilment of M&Ts is the basis for #RRF payments, but we found that they do not always fit the definition, some are not clear enough and others imply implementation of measures beyond 2026. Even in cross-border projects there was a lack of a harmonised approach in setting M&Ts

In our new @EUAuditors report on the #RRPs, we found that while the plans in general cover the 2020 #RRF related #CSRs, some important aspects of 2019 CSRs concerning structural challenges (pensions, health, taxation...) remained unaddressed.

We concluded that @EU_Commission generally did a good job in assessing the national recovery and resilience plans. However, we also found weaknesses and risks that could jeopardise their success, concerning e.g. important aspects of 2019 CSRs, M&Ts and control systems. #RRF

Sjećam se razgovora s EK još tijekom pregovora. Upozoravali su kako veliki projekt poput Pelješkog mosta nosi rizik gubitka novca ako sve ne bude na vrijeme i po pravilima. Ništa nije moglo stati na put želji za teritorijalnim ujedinjenjem Hrvatske. Čestitke ⁦svima!
