Purim is the one Jewish festival where it’s customary to get so drunk we cannot identify between the person, Haman, who tried to destroy us 2500 years ago, and our saviour, Mordechai.

We also do ‘fancy dress’ and eat hamantaschen biscuits.

The Times promoting wind power and claiming it now produces 25% of electricity.

This may be so, but electricity is only a small amount of total energy used - of which wind produces about 2%. Most homes are heated by gas.

Take away the subsidies and this would be much lower.

Thursday, the BoE said they may need to increased interest rates further.

My own business electricity costs doubled from £200k to £400k, 5 months before the war broke out.

This is ALL driven by net zero policy. Prices not higher in USA where they frack.

Our political class are total idiots not to get fracking under way as a matter of urgency.

We live in dangerous times - we could be self sufficient in energy quickly if we get on with this now.
