Happy Purim to my Jewish friends.

Purim is the one Jewish festival where it’s customary to get so drunk we cannot identify between the person, Haman, who tried to destroy us 2500 years ago, and our saviour, Mordechai.

We also do ‘fancy dress’ and eat hamantaschen biscuits.
