Today, the @EU_Commission & stakeholders agreed on a set of common principles to increase the support for consumers struggling to pay their energy bills.

These principles include bill payment deferrals, protection from disconnection, advice on how to optimise energy use & more.

65 meters underground in an mine in 🇪🇪

This mine is known as the largest oil shale mine in the world with 141 km2 of extracting permit area - approximately the same size as Tallinn.

Last weekend, I had the extraordinary opportunity to visit the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, devastated by the Great East Japan Earthquake & the following tsunami in 2011.

The reactors behind us are being decommissioned, a process taking 30-40 years.
