There is no justification to use a visit as pretext for aggressive military activity in the Taiwan Strait. It is normal and routine for legislators from our countries to travel internationally.

Russia’s economy is based principally on export of oil and gas controlled by the State. Internally, it allows a great deal of political control over the private sector. However, Russia is strongly dependent on western technology, including in the military sector.
